Biomass Briquetting Plant Setup

Place: It would be a wise choice to select a place nearer to the forest or the place where you can easily get the raw material from nearer place. By selecting such a place you can get the raw material at low cost plus can save the transportation cost.

Land area: The land area depends upon the size of the machine, we recommended 20x30x12 feet of area for setting up briquetting plan. In addition, warehouse area required to store raw material, which is completely depends upon your choice.

Raw material: There are several raw materials available in the market, which has highly concentrated heat and produce less ash content.

Agro Wastes, Groundnut Shell, Bagasse, Castor Seed Shells, Jute Waste, Cotton Stalks / Chips, Sunflower Stalk, Palm Husk, Coffee Husk, Tobacco Waste, Rice Husks, Paddy Straw, Mustard Stalk.

Requirement of drying: If the agro waste has moisture content more than 10%, it is recommended to use a dryer to reduce the moisture content to the 10%.

Requirement of cutting: If the agro waste are of larger than 200 mm, cutting is required.

Requirement of binder: The lignin existed into the raw material converts into the liquid during the process which itself act as a binder. No requirement of the other binders and that is why it is also known as binder less technology.

Estimate: Including wear, tear parts, labor and power, briquetting plant costs you approx 650 to 700 RS/ Metric tons.
